I rented a d700 and borrowed a D3, there were marvelous cameras to use. I never thought one brand felt better ergonomically better than the other. I don't miss either canon or nikon at this point ;)

Far from WIN but it's surprisingly doing what I need it to do for now. I'm holding out for whatever's the next big thing for me. It's nice to see all the buzz going around but I'm not holding my breath. And I think headshotzx said it best...

Leica. Soon enough. Man o man

The question is not who does the camera belong to, but who take the better pictures with the camera. I'm going with the little one (given a few years) over the original owner of the camera. LOL

Remember, Stressed spelled backward is Desserts.:)
Suggestions welcome.

It's often quite important to get down and get a lower angle, which this photographer have clearly learned.

That's cool. Leica is excellent but, it's not green on that side too. :) For the street photog it's perfect for being discreet.

The X100 is quieter than any Leica if you don't mind an occasionally tempermental AF system and the worst MF system ever. lol.

But for steath? It's the best. Think Konica Hexar AF on stealth mode, but quieter.

I love working with rangefinders personally, and I wish I still had one, they are just more natural to me and I appreciate the small size and the simplicity of operation. They definitely have their limitations, but as Julian said, they cater to a specific type of photographer, and for them, it is far and away the best tool.

I have to agree about Nikon's ergonomics as well, the more recent pro bodies (D2x and newer) were some of the more comfortable cameras that I ever held. My 1D is pretty comfortable admittedly, but a D3 is very comfortable to hold (but not to operate, for a Canon user) I've stuck with Canon for 10+ years, and I'll likely continue to do so.

I wish Nikon would incorporate that spinning wheel on the back of Canon bodies.
