took a couple pics this morning to test it out, just as I expected :) noise at 1600iso? what noise?

Nice shots. There's just a little too much noise in these. Yeah, right. Great job and you're right, what noise? Looks like deer #2 already lost one antler, soon to be 2.

The 5D MKII gets here tomorrow...can't wait! I won't be getting any shots like these...its 70 in Dallas today. No snow nor deer.

yeah I noticed after I posted it the exposure was off by a bit but was to lazy to redo it :)

"Your" and "you're" are different words with completely different meanings - please use the correct one.
"They're", "their", and "there" are different words with completely different meanings - please use the correct one.
"Fare" and "fair" are different words with completely different meanings - please use the correct one. The proper expression is "moot point", NOT "mute point".

Man I wish I could get this close to deer with a camera. Well...I wish I could get this close to a deer for more than one shutter action :-)

Nice shots, we have plenty of deer around that you can get very close to, the only thing stopping me right know is the -36 wind chill we are stuck in
