Well i'm here chilly Massachusetts and I'm bored out of my mind. I can't figure out what to go and shoot. It's one of those weeks you know? Anyone have any ideas for things I could go out and try to shoot (other than going to Boston)? What do you shoot when it's cold outside (I don't mind going out in the cold)

With the storm that just hit and all the power outages, it would be interesting just to get around and do some documenting. I did a bit of that last year when a massive storm and flooding hit the Oregon Coast area -- nothing special or "newspaper-worthy", but still something I have in my files.

Search "DIY LIGHTBOX" and be prepared to have some serious fun for less than $40

I always just got for a walk to town and take some candid photos of people and occasionally do some enviromental portraits of people if they seem willing.

I know, nothing interesting usually happens right here! And, when last year a tornado hit right in the middle of my town, I was out of town and had to catch it on the radio and TV!

With the storm/flood area, I had other business on the coast, otherwise in my complacency I wouldn't have bothered, but sometimes I'll make a trip "just because".
