hi have they stopped doing this as seems to be the only one i have seen that lets you do your printer aswell. Or is there a newer alternative .
As was thinking getting me dad for xmas as his prints coming out darker than what he sees on screen.

There's now the Spyder 3.
An other alternative: ColorMunki.

As for the "prints being darker then the screen": Probably the screen is too bright. Quite common. A display calibrator might be all that's needed. I've had good experience with printer / paper profiles supplied by the paper manufacturers...

iOne Display 2 is a good calibrator for monitors.

i forgot to mention he uses a mac so does any of the calibration tool work better for mac than others .

ColorMunki. all the way. I got one made profiles for my printer never had prints and screen match with Spyder 3 like they do with my ColorMunki.
