Lightroom 2 - creating slideshow for DVD?

I'm wanting to create a slideshow for viewing on a std DVD player - ie on a TV rather than a computer.

I can create quite a nice slideshow using the various features in LR2. However, there is no 'export to dvd' option or similar. One exporting it as a series of jpegs or as a PDF.

So what's the missing link? Ideally, I'd like to minimise the work in other software... I know I could export all the pics and build the show from scratch in a stand alone package but as LR has some pretty quick and easy features it's a pain to learn more software to do a similar job.

What's the most efficient way of creating a DVD slideshow?

Thanks

Geoff

I don't think it exists in LR2.

A very good program for creating DVD slide shows for playback on a TV is ProShow Gold. If you want more creativity, get ProShow Producer. Both programs have multiple options for viewing. I have used Gold for a few years and recently upgraded
to Producer

If you have Windows, Movie Maker (which I believe is a free download from Microsoft) has a very good slideshow function. It's actually a video of your photos. You can add a music track to it and I found it very easy to work with.

- I discovered I scream the same way whether I'm about to be devoured by a great white shark or if a piece of seaweed touches my foot.
