Hi Guys, I have been a longtime lurker with a Rebel XT 70-200 and 50 1.4, but then I got the 50D and finally decided to join the forum.

I went out to the everglades today and saw some birds and a few other things... and took a few pictures. Original sizes can be found on the flickr page. Let me know what you think.

Very nice shots. The egret looks great. Very funny to see a parrot walking around in the US, even Florida. I lived in Miami in the 70's and was stunned with the number of wild pet parrots that have gotten lose in Coconut Grove. They must be all over by now. :)
