Lost part of my g1 power cable, the part with the box that hooks up to the camera.

anyone know where i can find a replacement?

I looked on line and found one for $99 but that seemed a bit expensive for a cord!!!

Unfortunately, that probably is a decent price for one.

See, had you lost the OTHER part of the cord, it would have been a simple replacement. But I would assume that the section you lost is custom to the G1 (or Canon cameras, at least) so you are SOL.

I can remember damaging my AC adapter for my Thinkpad years ago, and having to pay $115 for a replacement. You, my friend, are in the same boat. :(

Derfel, I have a question. unlike the previous guy, I DIDNT lose the cord with the box . I lost the AC connector instead. Where can i purchase another one? I DESPERATELY dont want to spend $100+ just for the AC cord. What stores or websites sell the AC cord alone?

Cougar,

Just saw this old post. If you haven't already replaced the cord, it's probably available at any electronics parts store or camera store. I have some radios and my Sony Video Cam that all use the same cord.

God luck
