Anyone Have a LowePro Lens Trekker 600?

I can't think of a better place than this forum with all of its knowledgeable members to ask this question to.

Recently I bought a used Lens Trekker 600 (not the newer version II) from a fellow POTN Member. When I got it and the shoulder harness was removed from it and for the life of me I can't figure out how to put it back on, I've been all over the Lowe Pro Website and even done a bunch of searches and haven't come up with anything. Obviously I didn't get any docs with it either.

Can someone help me with this?

Ok here's some pics.
1. - This is the back of the bag

I think it'll go much the same way as the strap on the LensTrekker II goes, and not unlike the way the Lowepro backpack strap for their shoulder bags goes. There should be a way of securing the broad band/crosspiece at/near the cordura section of the back; the two straps on that will go down to a lower part of the pack. Webbing on the shoulderstraps toward the crosspiece should attach to the buckles on the top of the pack. And the ends of the shoulder straps may either loop over the waistbelt or be missing a couple of sliders to make them loop properly.

Thanks Jon, still not making a whole lot of sense to me, does the new version have that same big plastic piece connected to the straps (Image #4 of my original post)? If so where does it go top or bottom? If it is similar a few pics would be GREAT.

I don't have one - I'm basing this on my Lowepro backpack converter strap and the photos of the Lowepro Lenstrekker II on their site. I'm guessing about the auxiliary straps on yours since black on black just doesn't show up well.

Looking harder at the Lenstrekker II, I think the bottom ends of the shoulder straps go on the D-rings at the bottom of each side (visible in your RH side photo). Those long straps on the side of the bag may also connect to the backpack strap, through other gaps in the webbing.

The back strap slide in the slot in the back. It is velcro and your should have a white piece of white plastic that allow you to slide between the velcro and loosen them up. It is also allow you to adjust the backstrap up or down.

Check your bag to see if you have this peice of plastic. All LowePro big backpack has this peice.

The plastic part is in the back sleeve but I think I am missing the "Torso Plate". The part of the Harness that I have will never fit in there unless I turned it on the side but that wouldn't make sense as the shoulder straps would be sideways and not up and down.

I'm getting the feeling that I didn't get a complete pack at this point

I've got one and can maybe answer your question.

In the picture you post of the harness part, the lower two straps (below the rectangular pad in your shot) were sewn into the body of the bag and I assume that they have been cut off. If you look just behind the body belt pad attachment, you might see two triangular tabs protruding from the seam....the bottom of the shoulder harness should be sewn onto these.

I want to thank everyone that assisted in this issue. I was right in suspecting that I didn't get the right harness. A friend of mine just bought a Lowe Pro Super Trekker which happens to use the same harness and sure enough it fits the Lens Trekker 600 that I got.

I contacted the person I bought it from and he admitted he wasn't sure that he had everything for it and might have thrown some items out.

I've tried to contact Lowe Pro but can't seem to get in touch with them. Maybe I can get just the harness somehow?

Anyway thanks once again to everyone who tried to help with this.

That's a bummer Pete but it does explain why things looked so different.
