A good friend of mine just bought me a new gadget for my 5D.

Its an Aputure wireless remote using RF rather than infrared. They claim it has 128feet range.

Focus by pressing the button half way. Fully press to trigger the shutter. This remote truly is a neat gadget to have in the gearbag. Quality of both reciever and trigger is suprisingly very good if not excellent.

Perhaps a tad late to order for a stocking stuffer. This remote is definitely more versatile than a wired Canon RS-80N3 unit.

If your reluctant of purchasing an ebay "no name" remote this product will not disappoint you. This is a pleasant suprise!!
