Is there any way I can host pictures on the internet without having the hosting website compress the file? I want to host roughly 50 pics without losing any size, each pic is roughly 3-4 MB.

Who you go with as a host more depends on what you want to do with them than how big they are. Some do not allow hot links, displaying them in forums etc...etc. Just doa google for free photo hosting and take a peak arround. That said, I use imageshack.us for some, flickr for others. and I host my own for other purposes.

I suppose I should have explained the purpose.

I need to host these pictures in order for someone in Europe to quickly save them so as to blow them up (about twise as large as an average photograph). Thats why I want to host them and retain some quality.

If this is only going to be temporary setting up a FTP server on your computer is certainly possible if the client is computer literate.

You can set up an online storage service. Some are free. Only use it for file transfer. Up load it, give them the password, When they are done change the password and delete the files. Ready for next time.

You can use yousendit.com to email the images over - it stores the images on it's server for download for 7 days I think.
