We went to the un-lake today, and lo and behold there was SNOW. A good amount of it too.
The girls had a BLAST. And I'm so glad I took my camera with me today.
I thought you'd like to see how desert dogs play in the snow.
This was Amikah's first time in snow that was deep enough to play in. Ginger's been in snow before, but it's been years.

Hope you feel better Jen. Maybe you have an infection like I had.

Thanks Bobert... I'm hoping not... but the sinus pressure is killing me! UGH!

It may now be the time to start a "Oh why did I not put that picture forward for the book" thread.

I have just posted a picture in the TPBM thread and have decided it is the best picture I took last year, and did I enter it for the book? did I hec :-(

Well it is technically wonderful shot if you are referring to the pool shot but lacks a lot of interest. As far as votes go it may be a hard one I would think.

I have many such regrets. All I had to do is clone out the sign in the doorway at the end, and I would have put this one forwards. It's one of the few good photos I took this year.

You take lots of good shots. I like this one sans sign.

100% correct. This has broken 40 year old records.

Get out the Neti pot. Works like a charm!

:lol::lol::lol:

Just the thoughts of watching the neti pot video makes me gag... I don't think I could actually use the thing....

REALLY off to nap now!

Is that the thing where you pour the liquid in one nostril and it comes out the other. That is just gross.

That's it! Search youtube for some great videos!

Yes, it's gross, but amazingly effective for cold/allergy relief.

It comes from Ayurveda.

My wife does that and it makes me not want to celebrate. I don't think I could do it.

That's a fantastic shot, Neil. But I wouldn't worry about ANY shot you may have entered. I'm sure they will all do well. Mr Landscape Photographer of the Year. ;)
