Mark was named Kamarq when we got him and we know little of his history. We registered him as Letter Of Marque on his coggins papers. It is his show name even though he doesn't show:lol: He is a Thoroughbred.
Harley was broke western to be a barrel racer but was raised English. He is named Local Bar Harley and is a Quarter Horse with a little Thoroughbred. They call that an appendix.
Bob is a registered thoroughbred off the track and is named All About You Bob.

More kewl to know tidbits, thanks for sharing.

those are beautiful dogs...Hush is gorgeous and Gunner too for the merles! But Jasper's got beautiful markings and his ears totally express character :D

Hush is beautiful for sure, Gunner was to small and wimpy for my liking though. Jasper definitely has some real neat distinguishing features. :D

Man I just opened up a two pack of Reese's peanut butter cups and it looks like someone jammed their finger hard into one of them. That sucks, I can't eat that.

Wimp. If the seal was unbroken, I'd go for it. :p

CRISSA, that is a nice photo that you are removing the shadow on, there is something about the smile on that older girl that is quite alluring. :D

That one would be the 'title' of a song... Dona Nobis Pachem.... instead it is Kona...One of my favorite songs to sing acapella in a round!

I wondered about that too, you weren't the only one in the dark on that one John. I have never heard of the song.

I just made a new banner for my smugmug. Would you all take a quick look at it. I did the images in portrait but I don't like that and will change it to landscapes. This will also make the banner wider and move the slideshow up so that it is on the page.

In general do you like it? Try to envision the coming changes.

I like it in portrait....but what you are trying to do is have the 3 photos across the top and the slide show showing on the screen without having to scroll? Why not make the slideshow smaller?

Ok, I just googled Dona Nobis Pachem, and it still does not ring a bell. There are sure a bunch of terrible renditions of it on the net, and I hereby announce my official objection to such a nice puppy getting a name like this. :p

Okay the words Christmas pageant came to mind but to be totally honest I have no idea what that is. So what gives?

  You guys crack me up.
We are not a 'beauty pageant' type family. At all. Not even close.
Christmas pageant. We do a children's Mass on Christmas Eve and there is a small program in the middle of it.
I get to sit with 15 squirming 4-5 year old 'twinkling stars' and keep them still and quiet during a 2 hour Mass.

anyone know how I can get rid of this shadow without loosing my eyesight?

Can you make it 2 layers, totally brighten up the one layer, then mask it in so it matches?
(Or you could go with the edits that are posted here.;))

A long time friend who was over on the weekend invited me to go along with them on a x-country ski trip in late January. It is a 116 km (73 mi) loop. This is the same route I canoed last September, the Bowron Lakes Circuit. I sure would like to go, but I have 4 trips already planned in the next year. I will have to decide in a couple weeks, it sure would be a blast. We would likely take 6-7 days, weather permitting, to do the circuit. Quite likely that we would pull our gear on toboggans, as it is primarily flat terrain. We would also be able to stay in a few old trapper cabins (along with the mice) that have wood stoves in them.

Man, it sounds like soooo much fun, I am going to have to talk real nice to my boss about this. :D

Oh, I did, and yes it is beautiful, I just saw a lot of videos with not so great choirs or a group of people. Try it, you'll be rolling your eyes at most of them. :D
