Hi Mark how are things?

Hi Zane.

Thanks for asking. Update on Mum (Mom to you leftpondians ;)) - The operation on her hip went according to plan but she was still very confused and not eating/drinking. However, this last week, she's been a lot better - my sister and I have been splitting time at the hospital - she's been going in late morning to early afternoon and I've been going in in the evening - and we've been able to persuade her to eat/drink more. That's had a great effect and she's now brighter, has been up out of bed, taken a few steps (it's harder because of the broken shoulder - she can't lean on the walking frame so much). She's on the list to move to a hospital closer to home as soon as they have a bed available there which will be much better. It's a lot less hectic and therefore the staff have more time for the patients.

Because of all the running around, I've not spent much time online recently - it's lunch break here now and I thought I'd try to catch up a bit when I saw we were about to move to the new digs.

How's everyone else doing?

Mark

Great to see you around again. :D

It's great to be back - even for a little while. I've missed you guys/gals.

I've hardly even picked the camera up recently :(

Thanks Dan.

I think the move to the local hospital will be a big improvement.

Well clearly I miss on that one. :(

Purdy, sort of hot and cold all in one. :)

Here's one I took some time back - don't think I've shared it before.

QUOTED IMAGE

THey are pretty birds. My FIL had one living in their neighborhood for several years. It sort of adopted one of the houses and stuck around. One noisy bird though.
