Hi Zane.

Thanks for asking. Update on Mum (Mom to you leftpondians ;)) - The operation on her hip went according to plan but she was still very confused and not eating/drinking. However, this last week, she's been a lot better - my sister and I have been splitting time at the hospital - she's been going in late morning to early afternoon and I've been going in in the evening - and we've been able to persuade her to eat/drink more. That's had a great effect and she's now brighter, has been up out of bed, taken a few steps (it's harder because of the broken shoulder - she can't lean on the walking frame so much). She's on the list to move to a hospital closer to home as soon as they have a bed available there which will be much better. It's a lot less hectic and therefore the staff have more time for the patients.

Because of all the running around, I've not spent much time online recently - it's lunch break here now and I thought I'd try to catch up a bit when I saw we were about to move to the new digs.

How's everyone else doing?

Thanks for the update Mark I hope things move quickly and smoothly.
Glad you could stop in you are missed

Good to hear you Mum is doing better, I hope this is a trend to the future. It sure can be draining, I hope the bed closer opens up soon.

Come update us when you have some time. :D

Bah, none of the seniors I was supposed to shoot today showed up to school. GAH!!

So how does that work out on the karma scale.

I say that since your intent was to provide the service than good karma was gathered. The fact they they did not show does not impact the spirit of the give thus does not remove any of the good karma.

So, consider your karma bucket a bit fuller today. :)
