John, I see that you have a new senator. To bad he will end up being the shortest serving senator in history.

What makes you think he will serve at all? 1. Sec. of State says he won't certify the appointment. 2. Senate says they won't seat him. If by chance everyone changes their mind, he will have to hit the campaign trail to raise money for election in 2010.

We had a little terrier mix mutt who would run to the door if someone said "Daddy's home!" Or, if we told him to "Go get daddy!" he would run all over the house until he found my dad. Five years after my dad died I had to have the dog put to sleep. The last thing I said to Muffin, as he died, was "Go get daddy!"

I like that story, Lonnie. And I'm believing that is exactly what Muffin did. Good dog.

It is a problem that shows in mostly bigger breeds, Lisa. You shouldn't worry about it, but; still ask you vet about it when you see her again. Your breeder's sound like they know what they were doing and would probably not have let Kona's mom and dad breed if either was a carrier.

I got off at 3:00 today, ran some errands then came home to catch up. As I was reading about candy and UPS, I heard a door close outside and someone knock at the door, I figured it was UPS. Nope, a friend I did some photo work for is a champagne conisor he dropped of a fine bottle for us as payment for the work I did.

Curt should be here soon and then we will head to my brothers for dinner and to issue in 2009. Happy New Year all, I hope it is filled with great shots and good health to all of you.

Just under an hour to wait for new year. We're winding down the reat of it pigging out on food, champagne and watching "Father Ted".
