My fellow belowmeonians,

I'd like to take this opportunity to thank for your year's hard work on being complete and utter blabberfingers and taking this thread so far ahead of your rivals (the tupperwarians). This year is officially the blabberiest on record and you should be proud.

And I also want you all to know that I love you all even more than that night in Geneva a few months ago (and that's saying something). Thank you all for your support for our wedding by the way, it's been much appreciated.

May 2009 bring you all increased blabbering and happiness. May all your lenses be shiney and your pictures colourful (except when they're in black and white).

Felicitations.

Pete & Ali.

Clap, clap, clap.......Happy New Year drunk Pete and Ali!

Here's a couple of Kona shots with one of the new lenses. It was almost dark when I took them so they are at 2500 iso (but run through NR).

Yummy IQ

That is a GREAT idea Tiff!
I think it'll do great.

With the logo, it is a bit hard to read it until you know what it says. If you have other stuff that says "simply senior' on it, then this will be great. If this is the only thing you are using for advertising, I'd suggest working on it to make it a bit more easily readable.

Just my 2c.

I think Your idea is fantastic.

Bah...I was afraid that was the case.

*crawls back to the drawing board*

Kit you probably don't want to look. Warning there are lots of deep PJ shots and politics and stuff.

Tiff, try a large S with the word 'simply' small and above the word 'senior'. But both using the same S.

Thanks for the warning. Are there good ones though, peppered in the not so good? Or are they all doom and gloom?

Hee Hee hee... My li'l cuz performed in a band tonight, and now we're staying at a Holiday Inn Express...

Man, life is good on this new years eve

Went to the Science museum in OKC, today, they still had many of the exhibits I remember fondly. A great time was had by all. I got a great photo of the type of toilet they used in Mir.. Christopher was especially attracted to the tesla coil.

Permie, sorry you are struggling. I'm sure you'll get it in no time.

Ok, opinion needed.....

I'm planning on offering a service I'm going to call "simply senior."

Basically I'm going to set aside a saturday in June, July, and August to have a simply senior day. People will make appointments in advance for 15 minute sessions. I'll include 8 wallets, the yearbook photo, and a 5x7 for $30. It'll be a "one" shot kind of deal specifically framed for the yearbook...kind of a way for those who can't afford to go all out to still get a nice shot for the yearbook.

Anyway, what do y'all think of the logo idea?

Looks whack.

Hmmmm....

I was kind of trying for a "funky" thing with the word senior and a more elegant thing with the word simply. I'm just struggling a bit in the execution.

I do really like the logo but you are right in that the simply is a bit tough to read.

I'm no help on graphic design but I like your idea!! I think it'll do well too.

I just tested my other lens on Dan. I won't post the photos because they were of his ear...I'll just say it's a nicely sharp lens

and I think I have the servo settings set up now. YAY. Now all I've got to do is test 'em in good light.
