Oh HEY! My camera is in Portland. Now get this...they aren't delivering it til the 6th anyway. Even though it was due 6 days ago, it's "scheduled" for the 6th so it'll sit in Portland til then.

hardly...not even my Dan will pass an opportunity to abuse me for it

I couldn't say for sure. The M3 with the 300 2.8 was blazingly fast. Just not always accurate. I found out today that this AF can be blazingly fast and not accurate too (it's got this stupid setting called "release" that allows the camera to take shots whether it's in focus or not...it just keeps shooting...that's it's default and totally WRONG...but after I switch that to a better setting, then suddenly my shots were in focus). So that made me worried until I realized that I needed to set up internal preferences. I know so little about the nikon settings that I had to search the web until I found "what settings to use when" and suddenly things turned around.

None of the nikon lenses I have are as fast at focusing as the 300 2.8. So that also makes it hard to compare.

In general focuses in amazingly well (quickly) in low light (exactly where I want to focus...I'm so jazzed about that for weddings). And you've already seen it's iso capabilities...they are more impressive in full size shots. Overall I have nothing to complain about and so many wow moments that I've restrained myself (because of the abusers mostly ) from boring you guys with them.

Good man that Cap'n be! Yarrrrrrrrrrrrrrr!!!

So, another worrysome thing for me....

My senior from Halloween still hasn't ordered.

Well, you did warn them. If they were to call tomorrow and place an order, I might let them have 2008 prices. But, if they wait for more than a week, I would charge the new prices.

I switched completely away from UPS for shipping 3 years ago to US Postal Service for many reasons just like this. USPS is MUCH more reliable and takes better care of packages.

the problem with them is that I can't insure some things with them for as high as they need to be. Plus, they won't pack my stuff for me.:lol: The shipping place does

LOL, she said yes, it's a table from the restaurant (I didn't ask if there will be destruction of property charges in the morning).

Maybe it's closed down. Our A & W closed down several years ago. It's a lawn mower repair shop now.

Might be faster to just go pick it up yourself on Friday rather than wait.

Yes, it's really hard with hubby gone again. :( Ah well, won't be all that much longer before I can get rid of this house and travel with him. :D

I would but I believe they have to deliver it once (attempt to) before you can arrange a pickup.

I'm having chocolate cakes. (frangelico and vanilla vodka in a shot with a sugared lemon after) HOLY YUM.

AND we made ice cream chimichangas. (Did I already say that? ) We just ate them and I am in sugar heaven.

I've never had wanilla wodka. Or a sugared lemon. And I don't know what an ice cream chimichanga is.

I feel alone and left out.
