Hi Guys a quick check in at Naptime... it's back to the 4 year old daily grind for me today... Only 2 kids are absent today... UGH! It has not been TOO bad. hehehehe Thank heavens!!!

Seriously though...I'm going to add (AND enforce) a policy.

Gallery is up for three weeks.
After that it comes down.
They want it up again...sure....$50 for a week
After that it comes down
Then, if they still haven't ordered....they need to come see me and do it in person.

How about "do not repost" and a copy write on it. Correct me if I am wrong but these kids want them for the yearbook but if I know kids the most important thing to them is swapping their pics on myspace and stuff. A low res thumbnail is fine for that so they never order prints or high res images.

My copyright bug on my photos has curtailed certain family members from making products out of my photos ... Seriously pissed me off. Use all of my photos to create a calendar of dubious quality (800x600 is BARELY adequate for a 4x6)

I'd slap a big "PROOF" across the image with copyright info as well. Be as obtrusive as you want..... But the damage has probably been done. They've probably already slurped the previews down and used them in every way they can imagine.

that's funny...I don't think I've ever characterized myself...I guess I'm a "what you see is what you get" kinda person. If I'm ticked, I'll tell you. (not only that I am but how and why I got here and what could have been done to avert it :lol. If I'm happy, you know it. If I'm sad probably no one knows it. And if I'm displeased, look out.

Well, a lot of kids here like the wallets and parents all like the prints. I do need to remember to watermark them when loading them into my gallery even though it's flash.

Do it. Honestly...she may not notice for a while. I pulled the same thing with my senior...she didn't notice...a couple of weeks before Christmas I sent out a friendly reminder saying that I was updating my website and her galleries were taken down but I could reload them if she wanted to place her order by Jan 1 when my prices go up. I heard back a week later. Reloaded them...just got the order last night.
