I have an iPod...don't use it much. I used it as a flashlight when the power went out last night. I have a couple of videos of Aidan as a baby on it that he loves to watch and they helped me calm him down last night after the power died.

Pop up the flash and use DoF preview from your camera next time . . .

I'm gonna sell a couple of strobist flashes (nikon sb24 & 26) but she'd still need a triggering device, stands and etc. to use them wouldn't she? That can get as expensive as an inexpensive flash.

She can fire off the pop-up on the 20D.

My favorite smell ever? Bergamot. A friend of mine gave me a small bergamot candle, and it was like a little slice of heaven.

I'm officially back to my diet today after a long (and wonderful) break over the holidays.

And I'm happy to say that I only gained 4 lbs back. I was askeered to step on that scale this morning, let me tell ya.

But almost a whole month off, eating (and drinking) pretty much whatever I wanted, and exercise going out the window too, I'm shocked that I didn't gain it ALL back.

WOOHOO on not putting it all back on!

The problem is that most fragrances I'm allergic to or can't stand the smell. Patchouli makes me vomit. Literally.

Most perfumes give me a raging migraine. Not fun. But there's a special place for the smell of hot cinnamon. It makes me queasy. It all ties back to a certain gold-flecked drink, a less wise me, and a night by myself ... [If you're at all sensitive or easily icked out, don't read past here] I realized my error when I woke up the next morning in a pool of my own (very strongly cinnamon scented) vomit. This had a couple of effects, from that point on, I only drink sparingly, and with moderation. I almost retch when I smell hot cinnamon.

Yep, that's the one I'm still doing. I just took a VERY long "3 days off". It was too hard to eat special food over the holidays.
