I'm really trying to make an effort to share more...

1. 1Ds3/85 1.8 - Prep

2. D700/50 1.4 - Sharing a moment during the ceremony

3. 1Ds3/10-22

4. 1Ds3/10-22 streetcar station

5. 1Ds3/10-22
IMAGE: http://www.nightanddayphoto.ca/misc/forumpics/wff/MaddyJoshW/170609_4503.jpg

6. 1Ds3/11-16 - I almost never use texturing, maybe once or twice a year. There was a desire for an aged photo and in the end I used a texture I photographed from a 200 year old wall of the historic Carmel Mission in California. (We don't have buildings that old here in Edmonton)

7. 1Ds3/24-70 - It was so cold, dark, windy, and it was totally raining on them during this shot. ISO3200 F/2.8.

Ah, yes! Found it: https://photography-on-the.net/forum/showthread.php?t=361877

That's amazing!

Also, rolling out with Canon and Nikon! Fascinating.

Anyway, these photos are all top notch, and I especially like #1.

Gorgeous. I love your work.

1. Darn near perfect. I love the lines. It's almost as if it's a still-life. Did you arrange that vase there, or did you just find it like that? Either way, just stunning.

2. I think it would look better with a slightly different crop that got rid of the pew and seated religious figures on the right hand side.

3. Beautiful, but I wish you didn't clip the bottom of the dress, as it leads the eye right out of frame.

4. Car and stuff on the left-hand side of the background is my only complaint.

5. There's a car on the right. Also, I don't know how I feel about big, featureless conjunctions of tree branches. They're very busy, and I don't know if they're framing the couple or the sky well enough to be included.

6. I'm not going to say I don't like the texture in any case, but I don't like it in this particular image. The couples are posed too casually (and the groomsmen are wearing Chucks, for goodness sake!) for this to work as an "old-style" image, and the post-processing most assuredly screams "old-style!"

7. Beautiful image for such extreme conditions. I'm not fond of the groom's knee coming up beside the bride, and the flower in her bouquet mirrors the bosom-line of her dress in kind of a weird way.

I love how you go out, find the composition, and make positive artistic choices in the environment you have. You really give a lot of thought to your setups, and it shows. I have a lot to learn from you.

I am not my gear. I hate the word "bokeh." Photography is an art: BE AN ARTIST!

thanks y'all.

In dynamic, on-location shooting, one cannot always get the most perfect backgrounds. Cars are there, people are there, garbage bins are there. How often does the 'perfect' shot happen? I dunno... maybe once or twice a year? At least, that's how I feel.

I also didn't put the vase there. That's where it was. It was a cute 'wedding money' jar.

OMG, love the first shot. That is the type of photography I love - wedding or not! Neat vintage color range, nice asymmetrical balance and you still know what the image is saying. LOVE it.

Nicely done. I like the touch of the converse shoes. Seen it several times but like it everytime :)
