If you try to register a new camera from the provided software (install then it gives you a link), OR even directly on the canon website:
DO NOT USE FIREFOX/MOZILLA OR ANY OTHER BROWSER.
I just went through about 3 hours of calls, and finally determined that you have to use the bug hole called IE. I dicovered this on a whim, and never saw warnings on the browser.
That is all. 3rd new password reset on the way (which takes 45 mins).
Just use IE to register, I got them to document a bug, and you can register, but you won't be able to get past the login page with firefox. When you try a few times and fail, it will security lock you out, and you WILL NOT get a warning message unless you use IE.
