Had a rare opportunity to photograph a car from the 50s in a fifties era setting this past summer, and it was something that just happened by walking by. I wish I had taken a couple minutes more and worked settings and framing in different ways. I am relatively satisfied with this shot and composition though. For one thing, I would have asked the owner if he'd be willing to move the car over 3 spaces and try both tighter horizontal and vertical shots. But I was just starting to enjoy photography again and lacked foresight.

What a great find. The car and motel go together perfectly.

One suggestion: Try cropping to lose the empty pavement in the foreground. It will come out more Pano but I think that would still work.

Nice shot. The older motel makes this image what it is by the way.
