Santa Came Early!

Following news of a rather large tax rebate coming my way, I decided to do the decent thing and buy my wife a nice Christmas present and a couple for myself

She got a 50D and a 100-400L to go with it. I got myself the same plus another 24-105L because she won't give mine back!

Didn't get back from London in time to catch the last of the light so won't be able to post anything until tomorrow. Now it's time to RTFM and hope for some sun tomorrow

That would be about right! I was working in Belgium last year and paying in excess of 55% tax. They owe me a whole load of cash - but as I lack the discipline to save, I suppose they did me a favour

im glad california is paying 8.25% ( i think there was an increase lately. )

but congratulations of the purchases. they sound very nice

i think he meant income tax.. Which depending on your tax bracket is still about 1/2 or a little less than 1/2 of that. wow 55% crazy...

that is a great combo x 2! ( 50D + 24-105L + 100-400L ) X 2 !!
