This evening I bought the Canon 50mm f/1.8, and I'm real happy with it so far. I've been bustin' off shots all over the house (too foggy to shoot outside).

Anyway, this is the first shot I took with it, using available light in the kitchen. I didn't concern myself too much with composition or light reflection, as I was only interested in seeing what the picture, itself, looked like. I'm real happy with the crispness of the picture as compared to the kit lens that came with the 300D. Shot at 1/100, ISO 100.

Sadly, his last login was April 2008, so we may never know...

Well, I just sent him an email to try to get him "back in the fold". It's sad to lose folks around here.

"Your" and "you're" are different words with completely different meanings - please use the correct one.
"They're", "their", and "there" are different words with completely different meanings - please use the correct one.
"Fare" and "fair" are different words with completely different meanings - please use the correct one. The proper expression is "moot point", NOT "mute point".
