Well the team I was covering all year made it to the final but lost 17-3.

Katy 17- Wylie 3 (Texas)

Pictures were taken at Reliant Stadium (Houston Texans) during a 2:00 game. Very cloudy with sun breaking through some. C&C appreciated.

What awesome light for football. Nice shots. Love the low angle for #7. Great touch.

Nice shots, the clouds helped alot, perfect lighting for a good game. My niece is a teacher at Katy middle school, and my nephew won the Arkansas state title at Bentonville this year. I had the privlege of shooting the Georgia 5A state championship in the Dome for Camden County. I always enjoy good football shots, nice job. You were using a 300 f/4 with a 1.4TC I'm guessing. Why did you choose to shoot at 3200 with such good light? I probably would have shot this at 800. Good job nonetheless.

AHMO!
:O)

Thanks Big K, looking at #7 when editing I wished I had gotten completly down to the ground

Steve- I started at ISO 1600 and moved up to 3200 as the light faded. I feel the ISO ability is very clean up to 3200 when exposed correctly so keeping the shutter around 1250 was more important to me. At ISO 800 the shutter would have been 800 or under.

I was using 300 2.8, sometimes with 1.4 attached. Also had 70-200 on second camera

I certainly can't compare but it seems like they are a bit washed out and none of the horizons are level. since you have editing OK I took the liberty of leveling and a small curve adjustment. What do you think?

I aprreciate all feedback. Will compare the adjustments, didnt really go overboard on these. And I left the one horizon slightly off to keep from cutting off so much of the QB's foot like in the edit. Thanks!
