So ive been home for two days and in 12 hours I have had to deal with cops. (generally i have no problems but one of these i do). Lets see... Heres the story of Jack in the box drive thru...

11:23 pm Saturday DEC 20th
So I was hanging out with some close friends because we were all back from college for once and we wanted to see eachother. We were playing craps and pool and what not. I hadnt eaten all day so I then say "Hey guys Im hungry im gunna run up to JITB to get some food anyone want anything?" The guys whose house we were at said "sure Ill go with you too..." then 4 guys said they wanted some tacos. So we leave and I head up to JITB. I get to the order screen and i asked for my order of a sourdough jack large regular fry and a coke, as well as 8 tacos. Then after giving me my order I asked if i could add another order ticket to the drive thru for my passenger because he had a credit card to pay with. The lady then said "Nope you will have to go around and thru again" I said okay and no biggie. So we go up to pay and I pay with cash. I forgot to ask for no cheese ( Im lactose intolerent) and so while at the window I said
"Maam can i get no cheese on that?Im lactose intolerant and I wont be able to eat it with cheese on it"
"NO, We dont do that. you should have ordered it like that."
"can you please do this for me i will really get sick. "
"Fine we will do it but only this time"
"Thank you"
We get my food and drive around to do it again, but I notice that we didnt get my 8 tacos, only my burger and fries. My buddy orders an ultimate cheeseburger and two things of large fries. We get to the pay window and this is the conversation:
"That will be.... What are you doing up here?"
"You told us to come back around if we had two orders.. also, we didnt get our 8 tacos."
"Yes you did! I gave them to you!"
"Maam you didnt give them to me, if you would like you can check out my car to see if they are in here, we never got them"
SHe continuted to yell at me and tell me that she gave them to me, she got fed up and closed the window. I sat there until she came back.
"Look I gave you your tacos!"
"Ma am listen, you did not give us the tacos because we would have two bags of food then. and we are waiting for his order"
"What did he get?"
"An ultimate cheese burger and Two orders of fries"
"I already gave that stuff to you!"
"Ma am all we have is my order of my sourdough, there is nothign here with his food or my tacos"
"I gave all of that to you!!!!!"
"Ma am you didnt, you must have gotten the orders mixed up."
"If you dont leave Im going to call the cops"
"Alright call them and i will sit here and wait to the side"
*Ten or so minutes go by, I am waiting for my tacos and my passenger hasnt gotten his food yet, cops show up*
I open my door and am about to stand up (making sure my hands are totally in view) The cop yells at me and tells me to sit down. This conversation goes as follows:
"So whats going on?"
"I ordered my food ( Gave the officer my bag and my receipt ) and never got the tacos that were ordered, so we drove back around and ordered my passengers food and then the person in the drive thru freaked out claiming we have everything and she gave it to us and we are lying. We are still waiting on his food. All I would like is my tacos or my money back so I can go get my tacos at a different JITB"
"Okay" she then goes and knocks on the window, as another police officer comes and parks infront of me. She comes back and says,
"She says she gave you the tacos and all your food"
"Ma am you can search my car if you would like, we dont have any tacos what so ever"
"Well I might do that, let me talk to her again"
While she goes and talks to the drive thru attendant i talk to the male officer telling him what happened. The female officer comes back and says,
"She says that they have it all on video, that you got two bags of food."
"Ma am, can i see the video because we didnt get two bags"
Female officer goes over to see if she could see the tapes, while she is over there the male officer is accusing me that i am lying and that I am hiding them somewhere, I tell him to take a look at my car and see if i have them. He doesnt do that. He also asked why I was lying when they have it all on video. I told him that it must have been someone else because we dont have them. Female officer returns.
"It turns out that the woman inside does not have access to the video because she doesnt have the right authorization to see them. but if we find out that you have the bags then you will be charged with a nonsense call (when you call 911 and it isnt an emergency)"
"Why will I be charged? I didnt call you all here. I just wanted my order to be correct. When is it a crime for someones food to be correct?"
The woman comes out of the window and says, "Here are free 8 tacos, take them I just want you all gone." She hands them to the officer and then I get them.
I say," Thank you ma am this is all that I wanted, for my order to be correct. Thank you"
"Now get out of here and dont have anymore of your friends come up here and cause trouble and if we get another call on you tonight you will be in deep trouble"
"Sir we are leaving here, going to the other JITB and getting his food because we never got his."
"Well Dont cause more trouble tonight"
Then we left... The police NEVER checked my cars for the food... and it was a waste of 40 minutes...
THEN!!!!!
This morning I was in a rush to get to church so i ran out to my car... and guess what! My car had been keyed from the front headlight to the taillight on the driver side.... About 1/4" thick and deep... I was crushed...
So thats my 12 hours.. ...oh boy...
I think the only good thing about yesterday was that I got to meet with digital specialists( Jim) for lunch and it was good. He let me check out a few lenses im intersted in... So thanks Jim!!!!
