I was bored tonight and decided to rework some pictures. Here is one I did of my car back in July and I reworked the post processing tonight, just trying a few new things. Let me know which you guys like better.

Well.

I like #1.

Not just because I dislike HDR, but rather because of the yellow tint the 2nd shot has.

Neither are technically a HDR. The newer one does look HDR-esqe but its not intended to be nor is it an actual HDR. I lightened it up a little more and used some different techniques. I think it is a little too bright but shows more detail I think. I don't like how the color of the car came out in #2 though. The yellow tint was intentional as well.

Well, it's HDR-ish. That's more what I meant.

I just don't like the effects.

Lose the yellow tint, and keep everything else. I'd like to see what that looks like.

I still like #1. It doesn't have an orange tint, and the blue really pops out.

Be aware that what you're seeing here is probably not what some of the rest of us are seeing? Take a look at: Firefox (3.0.4) + add ons
It does not look good in color managed Firefox3. Those of you not using color management will see a darker, more contrasty image. See my Sig.

So...

I actually had to stop using FF color managed, because it was turning blues purple. Can't figure it out for the life of me yet.

But oh boy, I like that HDR Abuse hotline link. :D

Its not an HDR! I'm just trying a new technique of editing, trying a different color edit. I found a new technique for editing portraits and wanted to test it out on some automotive pictures.

Testing is good, but the portrait technique isn't working here.

Editing is way too harsh. WB is way off and the HDR looks is killing the pic. thats my CC
