Recharge XSi battery outside USA question.

I have 2 XSi battery right now will it be safe to recharge the battery at different country? Would the battery be ok? will it be meltdown?

Also how to remove dust on Eyepiece near viewfinder of my XSi? It seem cloth are not the best because the more i use the more cotton it stuck lol.

Read the label on your AC adapter for the charger...if it says (and it should) something like ...
"Input 100-240VAC" and "Output nVDC"
...you are home free for voltage and need to only use a plug adapter, with no votage adapter needed.

I live in Canada, and we have the same battery and charger as in the US, so it depend, but my guess is, in Europe, you will need and adapter but in north america, no problems.

I think places like best buy would have an adapter set. My dad got a European set when he went to Ireland, but I'm not sure where he got it.

There's an plug adapter set that I bought last night @ fry's. I think the brand was Lenmar and it came with all the European/Asian plugs. I bought it for 12.99
