Nice car ...

It looks good in #2. But the background is way too busy & why do you draw our attention to the front with a yellow area where the plate would be?
On removing plates in general: If someone wants to steal it, they aren't going to look up your address so they can come take it. If it's that great a car, someone else will have found it in a local parking lot & they'll steal it first? ;)

It's not always necessarily about stealing the car...

I prefer to remove my plates to protect my own privacy, not just my car. I don't want someone showing up at my door someday, uninvited.

However, I do agree that in #2, the yellow needs to go. I'd just make it a full B&W. ;)

Not only privacy of you home. But how handy, you look up a car same as yours, copy the plates and there you go. Instant free ride along the speed traps. You can argue people can copy it when it's parked too. It's true but just having your privacy protected a little never hurt someone !

Nice pictures btw. ;)

I love the pictures! I'm a total newbie to photography, what sort of settings would be used to get the rolling shot?

The pictures look SO sharp is this due to perfect focus?
Thanks

Nice shots, although I would go with the full B+W as suggested :)
