I ventured out to our local wetlands area today. 500mm F4 slung over my back, 12ยบ, but plenty of sunshine. There weren't too many birds but the few there were, cooperated pretty good. C&C are always welcome. Thanks for looking.

Nice shots Kris, but I can't ID that sparrow. Not quite like a Song Saprrow.

Just went by the river and saw one eagle. Things seem awful dry for eagles for some reason.

Thanks Mitch. I'm thinking this is a Lincoln's Sparrow. He was foraging around on the ground and responded to my "pishing" sound. According to my bird book, that's what they do.

We haven't had too many eagles this year either. Plenty of hawks though.
