Yep. It was an old FD mount lens. Pretty sweet, no?

Sad. They've been trying to sell that thing forever now.

I see it is FF. Kinda sad to use the lens on a FF body and lose the gain of a 1.6x crop.

You could digiscope it with a compact, for more reach!

Put it on the new 5D at ISO3200 and you'd have a nice Nose-Bleed Lens for the NFL.

"Raw" is not an acronym, abbreviation, nor a proper noun; thus, it should not be in capital letters.

It's rather be a telescope or sniper scope for me.
Imagine you're on a 95th floor hotel room, next to a stadium with this and a camera, you can enjoy the game for free and have pictures that people ever dream of. But spending $55k for that? No

Interesting comment, but very true.

its a must have for your camera bag ;)

and if you buy with mastercard you can save 15% which is a small sum of... about 8000 THOUSAND DOLLARS.

but if you got the lens, and it was a lemon, does that mean even if paypal gave you the full $20,000 you would still be 35,000 out of pocket?
