Way to gain credibility, eh?

Anyone notice this in the Q&A?

It was factory manufactured along with a 2000mm F11 & an 800mm F3.8 unit

800mm @ f/3.8 !! WOW.

If I'm spending $55,000 on a lens (well, $40,000 after I haggle) I'm damn well going to spend the $2,000 on a plane ticket and a hotel and check it out first. Screw eBay buyer protection with this one... Paypal fees on $55,000 anyone? ($1,650)

Not that I am totally serious on this, but trying to think of an actual legitimate use for the lens. First issue is obviously the mount. But maybe a company that owns some kind of lookout? If you are going to invest $55k in a lens you can spend some money to create custom mounts for various body types I guess.

Now to find a look out to mount it on... the 120m minimum distance can rule out lots of places alone. Maybe on the Stratosphere in Vegas? it is down the strip a bit from everything else and they love to spend money to have something no one else does.
