I got some shots of my first creepy crawly with the MP-E 65mm today while at my parents... It's Chilly outside so looked at the most recent edition to the house their Christmas tree.

My search was not fruitless as I found this little guy crawling around among the needless (after noticing the cobwebs going up and down the back of the tree)

it was a real challenge to photograph (the spider was only 5-10mm across) but I got a couple that turned out nicely.

Tv: 1/160 sec
MT-24EX flash

3-4x on both... I don't recall exactly what I was at...

Congrats, not bad shots for a start! Not entirely sure on what sort of Spider it is, but I suspect it's probably a sac spider of some sort, at least given the eye arrangement.
