Thanks! No, I just put my 40D on iso 3200 for a majority of the shots and hand held them at around 1/30 or 1/60ish. A few of them I leaned against a mailbox or something smilar to help steady me. A lot were also shot pretty open around f3.2/2.8 and so on.

tripods aren't an option. high ISO pics have sooo much grain. many of your pics seem tilted, some seem like you're standing in the total wrong position like the stair picture. 8 would have been sweet w/o using the pop up flash. get a tripod and go shoot them again IMO

I didnt use the popup. I had a 430ex with me. I was mainly just running around with some friends taking pictures, I didnt take complete time to make sure I had everything correct.
Just a fun time.
The stair picture I literally just took a pic as I walked by it.

The photos are good, i would just say that in the future you need to watch your ISO, keep it a little less sensetive, for night, around 800 should work. when shooting low iso try to get the lowest possiable F/stop as well

Yeah, I know. Which I did. Stayed around f2.8/3.2ish range on the tammy and F4 on the 70-200.

Not sure how Id shoot iso800 handheld at night. Barely hit 1/60 if that ISO3200 f2.8. Most of these were shot around midnight and it was cold outside so there was hand shake.

thanks for the comment.

Wow! Nice shots. Try using a tripod and shooting at 100 ISO around f11-13, with long shutter speeds(20-40 sec). I'm sure you'll love the results.

AxxisPhoto, thanks! I wish I could. It was sortof a spur of the moment event. I dont have a tripod stable enough to hold my camera though. Thats one thing on my list of things to get.

Was supposed to go shoot some paintball today but I got out there too late, shoot.
