I am the organizer of the http://www.dslr-forum.de/
meet up in Schwetzingen, near Heidelberg (details here: http://www.dslr-forum.de/showthread.php?t=268223). We meet every month on the first Thursday. The next meeting would be on January 1st, so we moved this to January 8th (one week later). We meet in the Brauhaus (http://www.brauhaus-zum-ritter.de/).
As I also participate here and also met in RL somebody from this forum, I thought it would be a good idea to invite you as well. I've noticed a few people in this forum who are based nearby (mostly people with a military background residing with the American forces in Germany).
Please tell me here in this thread if you like this idea and/or would like to come. I must have a rough idea of the number of attendees, so I can reserve a big enough table.
