There was this huge photography contest "Iranian national photo biennial". Fancy name right? And the judges were like the "most amazing professors of the best universities". And I'm not kidding. Anyway.

And there's also a gallery of the pictures which didn't win [POSTed by the people who sent their pictures] and I've looked at some of them and none were b&w and none of them actually hurt my soul. I think the only one to blame here is the judges. What kind of photographer would choose these pictures [I'm repeating 12000 pictures were sent. Not all of them could be worse than these.] And they're supposed to be professors.
