Anyone got a line on them, brought my 5Dmk2 to work today since nobody's gonna be here.
Left my one and only battery at home charging!
Doh!

You don't charge your battery at work? What's the office for?

I think the batteries are pretty darn hard to come by... I've had one on backorder since early December with Adorama, and even though they have shipped me a grip and camera I'm still without another battery pack.

... I'm curious to see with the new way the Canon pack works if 3rd party companies will be able to create batteries that work with them. The price that Canon wants is silly expensive...

There's some up here at a few stores, however that's if you're interested in paying the $210 CDN premium :|

Us Canadians stole them all as a means of buffing up our economy by charging exorbitant rates for 5DMk2 batteries to americans who were actually able to get the camera ;) For every battery you purchase we'll even include a free pack of Timbits heh,

Woa, you've never had a Timbit?! You need to make the trek to the Vancouver/Seattle border and grab the kids a box man!

As far as beer goes, I can only offer you our finest: Alexander Keith's. The time I lived in Seattle I was dying trying to find some place that had canadian beer but to no avail :(
