Lightroom export to CS4 Question

Hi everyone,

I have a quick question for you. When I export from Lightroom to CS4 it exports to the 64-bit version. However, all my current filters from CS3 only work in the 32-bit version of CS4. Is there a way to export to the 32-bit version of CS4 instead of the 64-bit version from Lightroom 2? Thanks for your help!

Only if you install 32 bit Lightroom AFAIK
If you have a 64 bit machine why not run CS4 64 bit.

Because very few 3rd party filters run in CS4 64bit. To use those filters, you have to run them under 32bit CS4

You can still export to the 32bit CS4 version from 64bit LR2, which is what I have mine changed to.

When you go to export a file, scroll down that box that pops up.

Post Processing:
After Export -> Open in Other Application
Choose -> Program Files (x86)/Adobe/CS4/Photos​hop.exe

It should maintain this as your setting for future exports, mine did.

Thanks guys. I actually figured out that I could go into the external editor preferences and insert the link to the 32-bit version. Then when I want to edit a picture inside Photoshop CS4 (32-bit version) I chose that link and not the 64-bit version which appears on the menu by default.
