This is an image taken in Garden of the Gods park in Colorado. I have been playing with this in the computer - to make the foreground lighter. I ended up increasing mid tones by 10% and that lightened the foreground enough to see some detail. Then I used Picasa's gradient tint to darken the sunlit areas and get more detail in that area. I also plan to play with HDR as I have 3 bracketed exposures. When the weather is too cold, a little digital editing in the warmth of the home is enjoyable.
