I just realized today that whenever I do anything w/ photography, I'm always either listening to music or thinking about music.

Which brings up the question;
whut kinds of music do you listen to (especially when dealing w/ photography)

When shooting, editing, just thinking about it in general...I don't care.

For me, if I'm feeling vintage-1920's-y, it's gotta be Cold War Kids (album, Loyalty to Loyalty) or something classy like Sinatra

or, if I'm feeling totally funkalicious and trendy, I'll listen to some Of Montreal, Reel Big Fish (all ska, basically) or Red Hot Chili Peppers.

And If I'm feeling totally punk rebel (or whatever you kids call it these days) I'll try some Arctic Monkeys or MF Doom

also, Radiohead, Hercules and Love Affair, The Shins, Sublime, etc.

...so how bout you guys, eh?

I am listening to Taj Mahal right now. I always listen to music when I work, or do anything for that matter.

I'm a metal fan.. some people don't understand how I can stay focused listening to such loud music but it helps drain the surroundings out around me and be in the zone.

In Flames, Lamb of God, Slipknot, Killswitch Engage, Die Mannequin, Celtic Frost, Machine Called Man etc etc.

I love many types of music so I usually just turn shuffle on in my "all" playlist and leterip!

I don't listen to music while shooting as I am doing events mostly. But when I'm shopping, I listen to soundtracks of movies I've loved.

My children and grandchildren are the reason, but it's the passion that drives me to get the perfect image of everything.
