What do you think?

I like it but I'm (always) wondering if it would improve if...

1) I couldn't really (didn't have time) to manually focus on the eyes, so it auto-focused on the hair in front...

2) I desaturated it... Do you think it's good this way, or should I put more saturation back in?

3) Should it be brighter?

Any other suggestions?

Thanks as always... The advice from this forums in invaluable...

Eyes should always be the one thing in focus. That's my general rule, be it people or animals. Move the blue knee next time. Otherwise, the composition is good, having her look into the picture. White balance might be a little cyanish, but can't tell for sure with the blue denim.

Hey Dave, you didn't mean to say you focused on the hair... right? You really meant to say you used soft focus, intentionally. Because soft focus really works well with shots like this. An ubber focused shot would have had too many competing textures in it. I like it.
