I went up to Sax Zim Bog yesterday looking mainly for owls. I didn't get the great gray owl shot that I wanted, but here are a few others. Definitely a recommended place to visit if you get the chance! It's about 3 hours north of the Twin Cities. There were a lot of birders and photographers out and about.
Boreal chickadee:
There was one boreal chickadee in a flock of black-capped chickadees. They are not as bold, but this one came out in the open a few times. Compare it to this black capped-chickadee:
