Great attempt for the first try. My first shots with an off-camera flash were terrible :). The car looks a bit dark to me though. You may want to try to bump the flash power up and/or place the strobe closer to the car, all while getting closer to the car and shooting at a wider angle. What were your flash settings for the shot?
