Figured I'd post some of the latest shots of my adopted greyhound, Listen. She's such a sweetheart! And a great model too ;) C&C is always welcome, especially since this is the first day with my new D200 (all shots taken with my 50 prime)! Constantly updated photos of her can be found HERE (external link), although some of the earlier shots were taken with my E-510.

Pretty girl! Greys make such nice pets---I've had four of them and they were all very sweet--I miss them dearly.

Very cute! The pics are nice but look oversaturated to me. Is this how they were right out of the camera?

Thanks!

I agree with the oversaturation part. Basically, it was the first day with the camera, and for some reason the pictures were coming out EXTREMELY dark. In Photoshop I played with the light levels a bit, but that was it. Here are a few I took today now that I know a bit more about the settings on the camera:

Much better! Especially the second one. Or else that was going to be the first red Greyhound I'd ever seen :)

Greyhounds are the greatest! Yours is a beauty--what an interesting name, too!

Thanks for all the compliments, everyone!

As for the name, Listen...
When we adopter her, she was a retired racer named "Boston Listen". While she replied to the full name, we decided we wanted something shorter. Seeing as she was 4 years old, we couldn't fully rename her, so we just started calling her Listen. After about a month she responded to it. She doesn't even respond to dog, she just looks around to try and find in the house what might be a dog! (Yeah, maybe I spoil her a bit ;) )

Well, as you can see by my forum ID.. I am a greyhoundfan as well. I love your pics. Makes me miss mine terribly. They are truely the 45 MPH couch potato. Aside from that they are also great smilers.
