Are the shots "as is" or cropped at all?

Recently got my first dslr camera - 40D (used).
Also my first Canon lens - EF 24-105L IS USM,
suggested by a friend as a "walk around" lens.

Love the camera and the lens. USM and AF are so fast I never shot with faster camera before.
The IS is ridiculous I shoot handheld even at 1/6 and produce nice images.
The camera feels solid and comfortable in my hands.
Thanks Canon, I knew I made the right choice, and I'm very happy with it!

I too have just gotten my first USM lens. It's incredible! I still dont use IS though, partly because none of my lenses have it. I dont feel the need for it, although I recognize that it is very very helpful.

Awesome shots!
Finaly I got my 40D (used) + 28-135mm. This is my first dSLR. Hope to post some shots soon!

Went out last night at 4 am because I've been dying to shoot in the rain (trying to get the most out of my L lenses :lol. I thought the 40d was weather sealed until I saw reviews saying it's not prior to going out so I sealed it in a zip lock bag which worked very well.

As you can see it was a pretty heavy rain
