I love my 40D! The only thing it lacks is video, but apart from that I love it.

I upgraded from a 20D to a 40D and I am quite happy with it. I never give it a thought to upgrade again. The 40D has all the features I will ever use and upgrading is not going to make me a better photographer. If I cannot take knock your socks off photos with the 40D, I sure as heck am not going to be able to do it with a 5D. And right now, the socks are still on.

Man, i just got done flipping through this entire thread. I just sold my T3i and I'm getting the 40D tomorrow. I'm pretty stoked. Awesome posts guys.
