Well fellas it's that time of the MONSTER SWELL down the WEDGE once again. Forecast this Thursday is 10 foot + Just an fyi...this is the time a UV filter is a MUST to protect your lens from the ocean mist.

yup thats me sitting. Blue and black checkered shirt. its the 70-200 2.8L non IS though.No 400 for me. Yet.

whelp, I didnt get up this morning to check out the waves at the wedge. TOmorrow should be the day. I found a good deal on a 1.4x II so combined with the 70-200 I should have good enough equipment, now if the skills decide to show up that is remained to be seen.

Sitting at jack in the box. Doing quick review on the iPad. Weather didn't cooperate much. Mostly glum looking. I was able to get a 1.4x II for $309 new this mornin do I picked that up. It helped a bit. Hopefully post a few tonight.

thanks for the heads up. I have trap shooting in the morning but Ill try to head out Sunday if the weather cooperates. I have no foul weather gear for the camera stuff yet.
