It's not a flying type airshow. You have to wait until 4:00pm, when the show is over, then they all take off. There were probably 40 different fixed wing and rotary craft, military and civilian and at least 80 custom, and restored cars and motorcycles of all types and styles. -rick

Ok, thanks for the info.

the fisherman on the surfboard is definitely print worthy.

I agree. It's a pretty cool and unusual looking shot.

Butch, I did not see the fisherman. Thanks for posting.

Hey Paul... He was actually one of the first few that went out before it got really crowded... If I'm not mistaken, it was him, "Pee-Wee Herman", and one of the "Rasta Guys" that made it out before anyone else... Anyhoo... Thanks for the comment!!! I'll see you this Saturday @ Huntington Library... Looks like it's going to be a fantastic day to shoot the scenery!!!

Great shots Butch, the lighting looked cooperative as well. It was perfect long board conditions, looks like Waikiki style surf.

Bummer, I missed it!
The 10-4 parade in Hollywood, early this month. Apparently, this parade doesn't get much press. But next year will be its 10th anniversary, and the biggest.

Did anyone see it?

Just discovered the So Cal Thread :oops:

If anyone wants to go shoot some landscapes or seascapes in SoCal, hit me up! I'm in La Jolla, Irvine, and Pasadena -- all at the same time  Just kidding, I'm usually in La Jolla, but I'm in Irvine and Pasadena often on weekends.

Nice to meet you all!
