^ I like that. Did you add the grains in post-processing? Or did you simply hiked up the iso/shutterspeed?

Yes the flipside feature works but is a little difficult (at least for me) to support when it is fully loaded. It will not stretch the waist belt but you will need to support it with your knee or something else like a large rock, bench, etc. I hope that answers your question. If not I could bring mine the next time we all get together for a shoot.

A quick one from the GNRS today.

Thanks I currently have a Tamrac backpack but to access the lenses and gear I have to put it on the ground. Last few outings I was in an environment I did not want to lay anything on the ground so started researching when I found the Flipside on Youtube. Sammy's does not have any in stock so not able to try, hence why I was curious if anyone local was using one.

No problem. that is true though, i usually assemble camera when getting out of the car.

Way to go Fricks! Other than me ramming photos down your throats people tend to not like my stuff. Lol.

Just left the Wild Animal Park. Long day and I'm tired. Hopefully the pics turn out decent.

I feel the same way. Just got home from hiking around Bee Rock and checking out the old Los Angeles Zoo. The few spots were taken by someone doing a shoot. She had her strobes set up and everything.

It was cool. Definitely want to go again. I only went with just my camera since we hiked beforehand.

Those are some great shots. Added that location to my list of places to check out this year. Never been to it before.

Tell me what you guys think of this edit. Went to see a bad last night that and their opening acts and scene was greaser/rock-a-billy and there were some dancers. Crowded bar so my angle wasnt the best and the shot ended up being blown out so I went a little nutsy on the edit. Thoughts?

It's a pretty nice spot. The hike wasn't too bad except for we took the wrong trail (more difficult but still moderate). The regular trail is literally a dirt road so it's not bad at all.

The LA Zoo was pretty cool Some good photo spots - too bad there was someone doing an actual shoot with strobes and all so didn't want to interfere.

I'm liking the edit. It gives it that old-school feel. With that kind of edit, I'd personally like to see a some grain maybe?

Thats what I was thinking too and also I think it needs to be blown out a tad more.

Blown out just a tad more - like the lights at the top of the frame.

Making the best of that shot - I like it. Haha
