Great shots! That pano is amazing, and look how clear it was you can see all of Catalina I thought the smog was going to be worse. Mike what did you do to that shot in your first post to make the lights look like search lights, never seen that before?

Slammed Society and Formula D this weekend anyone?

I'll be at FD Friday & Saturday. My first time going both days. Bought a monopod and I am hoping my 135L is long enough to get some good middrift shots 8-)

Awesome paneramas above, gang. I am gonna have to make it out to one of your meetups sometime.

Thanks! Land/cityscapes are not my thing really and it gets worse when they are not sharp like yours haha. Got to find something to try. I know what zooming does, its a similar effect, the center stays the same but the outside gets all blurry, like this

All those thumbnail shots on that page are yours? Nice work.
I can't wait to freeze some tire smoke myself. Just got a 300mm F/4 reserved for FD after rethinking using my non IS 135 only..

I snuck over to your flickr feed earlier and this one jumped out at me. Fantastic.

Did you manually expose for the sky and then focus/shoot?
